Good meat for all

RRMC is a community of farmers, hunters, butchers, cooks, and neighbors working together to produce and eat better meat. We enthusiastically welcome anyone who wants to be involved.

We are reclaiming and expanding knowledge on harvesting, processing, preserving and preparing good meat with reverence and skill. RRMC works with food donation programs to increase access to good, local meat.

We are based in Nassau, NY and mainly serve communities within the Hudson River Watershed, but can gladly take our services on the road if we are needed elsewhere.

Our on-farm slaughter and butchery services, as well as our educational programs, are available at a sliding-scale cost. No job is too small.
